General Hospital NOW

General Hospital fan favorite, Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) has been promoting her new side project for ABC on Twitter and Facebook for weeks now and we are so freaking excited! The General Hospital based ABC.com series will feature comedian co-hosts Sarah Colonna (Chelsea Lately), Jimmy Pardo (Comedy Bang! Bang!) and Jen Kober (American Reunion), as well as General Hospital stars Sebastian Roche (ex-Jerry Jacks), Lisa LoCicero (Olivia Falconeri), Jason Thompson (Patrick Drake) and Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) and of course…many more.

Nancy describes the show as “a big dose of funny or die” and also hints it will be “SNL-ish mixed with Soap.” Knowing Nancy from her Facebook page and Twitter, I think we can safely say we are all in for a treat. ‘General Hospital Now’ was co-written by Grahn and comedy writer Kaore Bonell and produced by ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ co-producer Karin Gleason.

Back in August Nancy announced the show through a tweet:

"All right listen up. I’ve got a show that is General Hospital with a touch of Funny or Die, a dose of Chelsea Lately & smidgen of Hollywood Game Night. It will have a big media sendoff but I can tell you it is on ABC.com. If you are not aware of ABC.com, you must bone up right now. We cannot continue our relationship here if you are not able to log on to ABC.com. Even I can do that, and I am a tech moron. So, If you want to laugh, take a minute to figure out how to log on to ABC.com cause come October there is gonna big a ABC publicity launch to promote this show and I don’t want any of you lagging behind because you are my peeps and if my peeps aren't onboard I will cry and you don’t want me to cry because my soap tears are nothing compared to my real tears."

Jimmy Pardo's Twitter even teased us with a few spoiler photos of GH actors appearing as guests back in August.

Early October the first season of the new ABC.com digital series finished taping and we are hearing the show will air January 2015. “Thanks to @7JustinChambers (Grey’s Anatomy) ‘General Hospital Now’ has wrapped shooting and is in now post production,” shared Grahn on Twitter.

Thankfully this new show will not interfere with her long time and much loved role as Alexis Davis because we all need some Julexis lovin’ in the afternoon! Am I right?
