Dee Wallace cast to play Patricia Spencer!

Patricia Spencer is coming home to Port Charles! Soaps In Depth has confirmed that GENERAL HOSPITAL has tapped E.T. mom Dee Wallace to play Luke and Bobbie's never-before-seen, long-lost older sister, Pat. There's no official word on when Wallace will make her first appearance.

"I have never had a greater challenge, never had more fun and never felt so much a part of a family on a set," Wallace shares in a statement. "You do more in one day on daytime than you do in a week on an episodic. I couldn't have more respect for colleagues than I do now."

Dee is huge in television history, but is most know as the mother in Steven Spielberg's "E.T." as well as in Stephen King's "Cujo." Dee's late husband Christopher Stone, whom she appeared in many projects with, played Bill Horton on "Days of our Lives" in the late eighties and early nineties.
