It's looking like Julian will find he is indeed the father of Olivia's baby. Daytime Confidential has exclusively reported that Wally Kurth, who has been appearing on rival soaps, ABC's General Hospital and NBC's Days of our Lives, has been offered a full contract at Days.
Kurth Tweeted:

Kurth has originally portrayed the popular role of "Justin Kiriakis" on Days of our Lives from 1987-1991. He returned after a 18 year absence to the soap in 2009 on a recurring basis.
He was the second actor to portray the equally-known role of "Ned Ashton" on General Hospital, with his first turn lasting a lengthy 14 years, from 1993-2007, on a contract basis. Starting in 2012, Kurth began to appear on GH in guest stints under the new regime of Frank Valentini and Ron Carlivati. Most recently, he was placed on an official recurring status, and has been jumping back and forth on both GH and Days for over the past 2 years.
While things are not exactly official, and have yet to be confirmed by a Days spokesperson, the move would make sense; Days is fastly approaching its landmark 50th Anniversary this November, and newly re-hired head writer, Dena Higley, has made clear her "intentions" on returning to the roots of the show's supercouples (Justin & Adrienne, Wally Kurth & Judi Evans).
As Jamey Giddens noted, GH fans shouldn't be in panic, as even though the news is yet to be confirmed, Days notably films up to 4-6 months in advance, so expect Ned to stick around Port Charles for awhile. (Ned will appear through the Nurses Ball, as Kurth has said on Twitter that they have wrapped rehearsals)
We are so sad too see him go, but somethine is telling me this will not be the last time we see him in Port Chuck.
