Hello, and welcome back!! I missed you all and I’m glad to see you’re all still General Hospital Groupies and fashion whores. I cannot believe that it’s been MONTHS since we got together and talked some shit. When was the last fashion piece? The Nurse’s Ball? WOW!! So many scandalous things have been going on in Port Charles, and I’m not just talking fashion! In case you are unfamiliar with this particular GHU blog piece, I’ll explain it very quickly. Each week, I review all things fashion in Port Charles. I will make a post in General Hospital Uncensored every Thursday and ask for input. We hashtag #FashionForward for our favorites and #FashionFail for the folks that just couldn’t keep up. (Oh, yeah…I also have a weekly muse.) Ok, ready? Let’s jump in!

So this week, on General Hospital,

we see so many different fashion looks. Some hitting, some heinous. Before I speak on anyone, can we just shout out the Blonde Bombshells in Black Bling, please? Laura and Ava turned what would’ve otherwise been a “meh” outfit into a statement by adding all black jackets featuring black bling. (If you are scared to wear bling, try black fabric with black, not silver, bling. It’s a little more understated, but equal in fabulousness!) And Kudos, to Laura for that winter white coat, it was gorgeous. (YES to white after Labor Day. You’re welcome.) Speaking of neutral colors, it

seemed like all of Port Charles got in on the trend this week (including Valerie in that black towel, DAYUM!). And I loved every minute of it. Hayden looked beautiful in her gray, silk blouse. It was probably the simplest piece on my list, but is a #FashionForward testament to flawless, beautiful craftsmanship. Her top was very loose fitting, almost Grecian-like in silhouette with flowing ¾ sleeves. The true beauty is in the seaming. No matter how flowy the blouse, it never lost its structure. I now wish to own this top.

Big congratulations to the new Mrs. Sonny Corinthos…again, LOL! Carly, as you know, is a big favorite of mine. However, (and this truly pains me), I have to say she was a total #FashionFail to me this week. Carly seems to have a sort of uniform at this point. She’s got that beautiful body that she loves to show off in her beautifully tailored pencil skirts. The skirt is usually paired with a loose fitting, top of some sort. This week was no different. Black pencil skirt and really cute long sleeved, scoop neck, blouse (sweater, maybe?) that went from gray to black and featured black sleeves. Carly, I love you. You’ve been my favorite for 14 years…and you’ve also been a mob boss’s wife for most of that time. I need for Carly to start looking the part, but still keep that business aspect of her style. I wanna see long lines, structure and skin on this Don Diva. Please and thank you.

UGH!! Y’all, I was gonna wait to do this but I just can’t. Elizabeth…what

the fuck, honey. OMG, people. She came in that house and took her coat off and I just about fell on the damn floor. Before I start y’all, I don’t rip on Liz because I hate her. (And I do hate her, very much.) I actually had her on the forward list in a previous article that we never published. I have proof, I saved it. LOL. I constantly tear Elizabitch…oops…BETH, a new asshole each week because she dresses like a Golden Girl. Her sweater was the ugliest f-ing think I saw that day. It was black and looked like Gram hot glued doily pieces to it. Then Gram ran out of doily pieces and decided it looked “unique like her granddaughter” and just left the shit that way. No, ma’am! It looked scattered, messy and out of style…kind of like the woman wearing it. Yeah, I said it. #FashionFail. Period.

Ok, I feel better. Now, on to more fabulous things. This week, we saw the beginning of the revitalization of Crimson. Along with that comes, a new friendship and the style of fashion that I’ve come to expect and love within those company walls! Port Charles’ resident Fashionista, Maxie looked perfect this week. She chose a gray, beautifully fitted, tea length dress accented with pretty abstract pink flowers (accented with red, purple and white). If you’re going to do flowers, do this. Maxie’s look was totally #FashionForward because she managed to pull off a so called “Spring” trend by pairing the flower print with a the neutral colored gray dress, toning down the pink but making it noticeable all the same. The darker colors in the print also help make the flowers look less Springtime and more couture. Her simple, neat ponytail gave her look just the right edge. Can we talk about her jewelry? That pendant necklace with the fringy gold at the bottom was super cute! And that four tiered diamond bracelet is to DIE for. It seems to me that Maxie could teach her designer friend a thing or two. Umm, Graffitia? We don’t know you like that, but that is NOT how we do things in Port Charles. Once again, I applaud white after Labor Day, but that fringe? Or whatever the hell it was…immediate #FashionFail. It was cheap looking and very Cruella DeVille-esque. I’ll pass. She should’ve too. Real shit.

Fortunately, for Graffitia, she redeems herself with my final look. Ms. Nina Reeves has also been a favorite of mine since she decided to walk again. She’s like a life size Barbie and never disappoints with her fashion choices. This week was no different for her. We first see her in a dress that boasts what I like to think of as her “signature style”. She wore a long sleeved, black sweater dress about calf length. The dress featured asymmetrical shapes along the upper portion in pink, gray, white, red and yellow. Nina’s wardrobe has been all about bold, dramatic colors, asymmetrical shapes and a figure flattering silhouette. It’s been so much fun to watch her become this fashion phenome! Even more fun was watching Miz Graffitia take Nina from simply #FashionForward, to my muse this week with her makeover. Nina transformed into a beautiful boss bitch when she put on a long sleeved black gown. This wasn’t just any gown. It was business up top, with a rounded neckline and slightly “conservative” plunge. It wasn’t skanky, it showed just enough. Accented with her thin, gold long chain necklace, it’s no wonder Julian got flustered!! The bottom of this gown was party, party, sex and more party!! It had

a small train and featured the most epic thigh high slit I have ever seen. The belt was the same fabric as the gown so it literally just disappeared. The dress was simple, but once again, great work can turn simple to SUPERB! Her hair was done up into a sophisticated up-do that framed her face, and bold shaped dangle earrings kept true to her signature style. Everyone knows that I am a shoe whore (“Don’t worry, your feet will go numb soon!” Best and truest line of the entire show.) so I am currently trying to find those cage sandals that she had on. They had to be at least six inches. All black and not to distracting that they become the focal point but sexy enough to stand on their own if need be. The entire ensemble elongated her and elevated her look to the next level; she reminded me of a beautiful black swan. She became totally chic and business perfect all at the same time. Best. Muse. Ever. Brava, Graffitia!! Brava!

Aright, my favorite GH fans in the whole damn world, that wraps us up this week! What do you think? Do you agree? As always, I love feedback! Didn’t see your favorite on the list? Keep a look out for the Thursday posts for Soap Star Styles in General Hospital Uncensored. Until then, stay pretty!
