Kristina Wagner & Jack Wagner Reunite for "When Calls The Heart" Holiday Special

General Hospital” star Kristina Wagner [Felicia Scorpio] has reunited with “GH” alum Jack Wagner [Frisco Jones] for “When Calls the Heart” holiday special. The two- part episode will air on Saturday, December 26 at 8 p.m. on the Hallmark Channel.

Jack Wagner, also a “B&B” [Nick Marone] and “Melrose Place” [Dr. Peter Burns] alum, stars as Bill Avery. “When Calls the Heart” is described as a sweeping frontier drama with universal themes of faith, hope and community. The third season of the series will premiere in February 2016.

Kristina Wagner portrays Bill’s estranged wife Nora Avery – and Kristina says things are going to get very interesting during the third season. Viewers can expect a few twists and turns. In an interview in the most recent issue of ABC Soaps In Depth Kristina revealed that it has been difficult to “separate the Frisco and Felicia connection” on the set of “When Calls the Heart.”

It was enjoyable to work with Jack, even though Kristina and Jack are divorced – as are Felicia and Frisco on “General Hospital.” Kristina revealed in the interview with ABC SID that she was excited to be on set with her ex-husband because it gave the former couple a clean slate. The actors had to figure out first, “who are we today” and then “what do we have to bring to [“When Calls the Heart].”

The two-hour holiday special of “When Calls The Heart” will focus on Bill Avery’s inner struggles. Viewers can expect to see some of the loose ends tied up between Bill and Nora in the first few episodes of the third season.
